Bass Strait Freight supplies fuel to businesses and farmers on Flinders Island and to the general community on Cape Barren Island, through its wholly owned sister company, Bass Strait Fuel Pty Ltd.

We source our fuel direct from the Bell Bay terminal in Northern Tasmania and deliver to our Island based customers from our fuel storage facilities at Bridport, using our vessels and road tankers on the Island.

Our fuel prices are competitive. Prices vary, according to the Bell Bay Terminal Price, so we email our customer base after each delivery from our supplier which helps our larger customers to manage pricing risk.

With further investment in delivery equipment and technology, we aim to match the delivered fuel price on the Islands with fuel prices in regional Tasmania.
